The equipment is exclusively powered by green electricity and offers drivers a significant upgrade from the standard charging experience.

Oest Tankstellen is updating the infrastructure of its AVIA service station network in southern Germany to offer customers convenient solutions in this area as well. After equipping several stations with chargers for electric vehicles (EV) stations for some time, the company has now installed the first site of the service station brand with the latest generation of high-performance fast-chargers.

High-capacity fast chargers were deployed in April, each of them capable of delivering up to 150kW but capable of being upgraded to 300 kW if required. Two vehicles can be charged simultaneously at each station. This new technology means significantly reducing charging times, which enable vehicles to be charged more conveniently and more quickly, a decisive factor for EV drivers.

"The investments in new e-charging stations are one of several important building blocks in our concept. High-performance, modern hyperchargers are an integral part of the plans for all of our newly built AVIA service stations, and we will also be gradually upgrading our existing stations with fast-charging stations,"said Matthias Pape, Managing Director of Oest Tankstellen GmbH & Co. KG.

The equipment is powered exclusively by green AVIA electricity, generated 100% climate-neutral from the company's own wind farms, hydropower and solar energy. The new fast charging station at the AVIA service station in Freudenstadt is even located under its own solar carport.

For many years, Oest has not only been involved with environmentally friendly alternative fuels and e-fuels but it is also committed to technology openness and advocates the use and further development of all available technologies that contribute to achieving climate targets and the energy transition.
